Shut Down the Fear Party

What do you think about fear?

God does not plant fear in our thoughts or hearts. Why entertain it? Fear is a gift from the enemy that we don’t have to accept it: it is one of his oldest tactics intended to hinder, and eventually snuff out, God’s plan for our lives. Why fall prey to his wiles? Why not live #AFearlessLife?

Living #AFearlessLife is not about not ever experiencing fear. Living #AFearlessLife is about overcoming fear by cutting it off at the root before it has a chance to pervade our thoughts, ad strangle our faith.

For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. II Tim. 1:7

The truth is that we already walk in triumph. We are on God’s team so we win. The Psalmist wrote that, “With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies” (Psalm 60:12). So anytime we dilly dally with fear, our thoughts are contrary to God’s promises, which He will always honor (II Peter 3:9).

Jesus overcame the enemy at the Cross (Hebrews 2:14-15; John 12:31; Revelation 12:11; Revelation 17:14). His bloodshed conquered any and every tactic satan can ever employ against the children of God. And the God’s children are joint heirs to the throne (And that means ALL of God’s children are joint heirs since He is no respecter of persons!) You know what that means? It means we are over comers, too! We are champions in Christ.
